Comment on draft of the Open Science and Research Funding Roadmap

The working group for Funding open science appointed by the Open Science and Research Steering Group has drafted a roadmap for funding open science and research. The roadmap is based on the goals set out in the Open Science and Research Declaration, as well as the policies specifying the Declaration and objectives and actions defined by the policies.

The vision of the Open Science and Research Funding Roadmap is that the actors of the Finnish research community have sufficient, clear and interoperable means and guidelines to enable both the realisation of open science and research and the funding that it requires in a sustainable manner.

After commenting, the funding working group will finalise the Roadmap, which is finally approved by the Open Science and Research Steering Group.

Questions can be answered in Finnish, Swedish or English. In the spirit of open science, all comments will be published with the name of the commenter.  Anonymous responses are ignored and not published.

The draft is 35 pages long and is commented on one recommendation at a time. In addition to questions about recommendations, there are general questions about the introduction, structure, and other sections of the document at the end of the survey. Answers can be saved and responses to the survey can be continued later. Sending the form does not require answering all questions.
